Just some stone walls remaining, no castle to see at all. But very nice view to the lake Balaton !!!

It was a bit cloudy, we wanted to see Lake Balaton and the surrounding castles, the GPS was quite bad on gravel roads by car, but it was possible to go slowly. Then park in front of a guest house and walk from there. You had to go up quite steep stairs. The panorama was beautiful despite the cloudy weather.
GPS directed me to a gravel road after the village, who thinks you can park in the vicinity of the store and from there walk about 2km to get there, we drove slowly and carefully on the gravel road and later parked and continued on foot (with the car, me carefully avoiding the gravel road the side of the road was covered by the vegetation) the landscape is beautiful, they take care of the remaining parts of the castle and try to preserve the structure, they built or renovated a small bridge on the side of the castle. there is also a small camping area, so there is a possibility for everything. have a good trip everyone
Fantastic place. The environment is also changing...the view from the part in front of the castle wall is great. Unfortunately, the walls cannot be "conquered" (climbed). From Pécsly, you can also reach them by car on a narrow road between the vineyards, but only if you are not afraid of your car. Starting from the edge of the village, it is an easy walk of about 2 km. At the end, a steep staircase leads to the ruin.
A good little hiking spot, we started from Pécsely, on the flat, hot gravel road, we reached the cool, ever-rising forest road to the ruined castle, from where you can enjoy a wonderful panorama of the Balaton highlands, the Tihany peninsula, along the way with a thousand small miracles, refreshing, clear water springs
It's a good place, it's an easy three-and-a-half-hour walk from Pécsly, the road is well-developed. The view from the castle is great, even though the lookout is no longer there, it is worth coming here. We didn't find a parking lot at the beginning of the tourist route, only further up, about halfway.
We were here to rest as part of an ebike tour. The benches and objects here are starting to crumble a bit.
